A body whose momentum is constant must have constant velocity. For a given mass, the velocity remains constant if the momentum is constant.

Velocity is also constant because the momentum itself states that mass * velocity. If mass is constant then, velocity must be constant as u have said momentum is constant. And again as the velocity is not changing ..so acceleration is zero,which is a constant value.

Velocity constant

as we know

∆p=m∆v

when ∆p=constant

m∆v=constant

∆v=constant

v1=v2
