Question : -

A body starts with an initial velocity of 10 m/s and acceleration of 5 m/s². Find the distance covered by it in 5 s.

Answer : -

Given that,

Intial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

Final velocity (v) = 10 m/s

Acceleration = 5 m/s^2

Time = 5 s.

By using second equation of motion,

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} at²

s =  0 \times 5 \times \frac{1}{2} \times 5 \times 5 \times 5

s =  0 + \frac{1}{2} \times 125

s =  \frac{125}{2}

s = 62.5 m

So, the body will cover 62.5 m.

 \huge{ \boxed{ \pink{distance = 62.5m}}}
