a book shop has 5/8 books on literature and 2/5 on fiction.if there are 12480 books in all find the number of books in each

No. of books in friction = 2/5*12480 = 4992
No. of books in literature = 5/8*12480 = 7800

total no. of books=12480

total books on literature =5/8*12480

7800

fiction=12480-7800=4680

or

total books on fiction=3/8x

3/8*12480=4680
