A box contains 90 discs which are numbered from 1 to 90. If one disc is drawn at random, find the probability that it bears (i) a 2 digit number. (ii) a perfect square. (iii) a number divisible by 5

=9/10
2. P= 9/90
=1/10

we know that the total number of discs=90

i) Let A be the probability getting a 2 digit number

therefore

P(A) = 81/90 = 9/10

ii) Let B be the probability of getting a square number

therefore,

P(B) = 9/90 = 1/10
