A box wth lid 2cm thick wood. Its inner dimensions are 21,14,11. Its external dimension are 24,17.15. Find the cap ity of box and volume of eood used.

Capacity of box = internal volume = 21*14*11 = 3234 sq.cm

Volume of wood = external volume - internal volume
= 24*17*15-3234
= 6120-3234
= 2886 sq.cm of wood (including lid)
