Let him have 3x, 2x, 4x notes of rs2, rs5, rs10 respectively. Total amount is 728.
As per question
3x×2+2x×5+4x×10=728
56x=728
X=13
So he has 39, 26, 52 notes of 2, 5, 10 denomination

Answer:

He has 117 number of notes in total.

Step-by-step explanation:

Total sum of money = 728

We are given that the denomination of Rs 2 notes, Rs 5 notes and Rs 10 notes in the ratio of 3:2:4

Let the ratio be x

So, Number of notes of Rs. 2 = 3x

So, Number of notes of Rs. 5 = 2x

So, Number of notes of Rs. 10 = 4x

Value  of 2 rupees notes = 3x \times 2 =6x

Value  of 5 rupees notes = 2x \times 5 =10x

Value  of 10 rupees notes = 4x \times 10 =40x

Since the total sum of money is 728

So, 6x+10x+40x=728

56x=728

x=\frac{728}{56}

x=13

No. of 2 rupee notes = 13×3 = 39

No. of 5 rs.= 13×2= 26

No. of 10 rs. = 13 ×4 = 52

Total no. of notes = 52 + 26+ 39 = 117

Hence he has 117 number of notes in total.
