Hello!

By definition, the pressure is the force divided by the area, on which force acts. In SI it is measured in pascals (`N/m^2` ).

In our case area is `50cm*50cm = 0.5m*0.5m = 0.25m^2` .

The force is the gravity one (probably we ignore the buoyancy force of air). This force is equal to m*g, where m is mass and g is gravity acceleration, `g=9.8m/s^2` .

So the pressure is

`45*9.8/0.25` = 1764(Pa).
