A boy swims in a 100m long pool.he covers 60m with velocity of 20m/s and covers the rest of the distance with velocity of 10m/s calculate the average velocity of boy?

60m * 1s/20m = 3 seconds
40m * 1s/10m = 4 seconds


formula:average velocity =total distance or displacement/time taken

100m/7s = average velocity = 14.28571 m/s and I would round it to 14.3 m/s
