His work done will be,

W = Displacement × Time taken

Skanda11: okk. i understood. thank u
Skanda11: but one more doubt. as he apply accelerator of the car, the car is moved. can't we consider this as work?
Skanda11: sorry. . am i disturbing u too much
Foamy: No Becuase He is Just Applying force On The car peddle
Foamy: Does the question has multiple choice?
Skanda11: no choice and all. they have asked a question to explain what is the work done. a boy travels in his car from home to market.
Foamy: ok
Nithinsm: Motion
artemisfowl6: He did not apply and force such that displacement takes place so the work done is zero.
artemisfowl6: Another answer would be- he is sitting perpendicularly to the direction of displacement so work done is zero.

Work done = force X displacement

Explanation:

Work done is defined as the product of force and displacement.

His work done totally depends on displacement covered by him and value of force i.e m×a

Where m = mass of body and

            a = acceleration ( velocity/time)
