P1 = 0.01 Pa
P2 = 0.0025 Pa
P3 = 0.005 Pa
Explanation:
given - lxbxh = 20×10×5 and F = 500 gm.wt.
solution :
A1 = lxb = 20 x 10 = 200 cm²
A2 = bxh = 10 x 5 = 50 cm²
A3 = lxh = 20x5 = 100 cm²
we know
P = F /A
therfore
P1 = F/A1 = 500/200 = 2.5 dyne/cm²
P2 = F/A2 = 500/50 = 10 dyne/cm²
P3 = F/A3 = 500/100 = 5 dyne/cm²
if you want in N/m²(pascal) then multiply P by 10^(-1)
