Answer:

The total Cost of making the bucket is ₹ 2143.05 .

Step-by-step explanation:

SOLUTION :

Given :

Radius of top circular ends ,R = 25 cm

Radius of bottom circular end of bucket ,r = 10 cm

Height of the bucket (h) = 20 cm

Slant height of a frustum , l = √(R - r)² + h²

l = √(25 - 10)² + 20²

l = √15² + 20² = √225 + 400 = √625

l  = 25 cm

Slant height of the bucket ,l  =25 cm

Surface area of aluminium sheet used in making a bucket = π(R+ r)l + πr²

= π(25 + 10) 25 + π × 10²

= π× 35 × 25 + π × 100

= π(875 + 100)

= 975 π

= 975 × 3.14

Surface area of aluminium sheet used in making a bucket = 3,061.5 cm²

Cost of making the bucket is = 3,061.5 cm² × 70/100

= ₹ 2143.05

Hence, the total Cost of making the bucket is ₹ 2143.05 .
