A bucket of 20 litres is 35% full. How many litres of water must be put into it so that it is 65% full​

Containing capacity of bucket : 20 liters

1% of 20 = 20/100

Therefore 35% of 20 = 20/100 × 35 = 7

So, The bucket is containing 7 litres.

According to question bucket has to be filled 65% of total water containing capacity.

Now, 65% of 20 = 20/100 × 65 = 13

According to question water to be filled is 13 litres.

So the water needed more to fill the bucket 65 percent is 13 litres minus 7 litres = 6 litres.
