Time taken = D/60 hr
Distance covered till Car & Bus meet in 2nd Part = 2D/3 km
Speed = 40 km/hr
Time Taken = (2D/3)/40 = D/60 hr
Total time taken by Bus = D/60 + D/60 = 2D/60 = D/30 hr
time taken by Bus= D/30 hr = Time taken by Car= 4 hr
=> D = 120
Total Distance = 3D = 360 km
Distance covered by Car = 4D/3 = 4 * 120/3 = 160 km
Speed of car = (160)/(4) = 40 km/hr
