u=200/9 m/s  v=150/9 m/s  t=5s         a=v-u /t    = -10/9 m/s2

Friend, here's your answer

Retardation Is nothing but the stopping acceleration.
Retardation=Acceleration=change in velocity/time
a=(v-u)/t
=(60-80)/5
= -20/5= -4m/s^2 or just 4m/s^2
(negative denotes the stopping acceleration)

hope it helps:)
