Given, diameter = 1.4 m

so, Radius = 0.7 m

Hence circumference = 2πr

                                    = 2*22*0.7/7

                                    = 4.4 m

Hence, Distance covered = 20000*4.4 = 88000 m = 88 km

Answer: the bus travelled 88000 m or 88 km

Step-by-step explanation:

given,

bus wheel of diameter 1.4 m

this means the radius = diameter/2 = 1.4/2 m ( or 14/20 m)

now the bus completed 20,000 rotation

we have to find the distance covered by the bus.

the distance covered by bus = the distance covered by wheel ....... as wheel                                                                                                                           .                                                                                                                   is   ...........                                                                                                         attached .                                                                                                                  to the bus

now the distance of wheel = cicumference of the wheel × number of rotation

= 2πr × 20000

= 2 × 22/7 × 14/20 × 20000

= 88000m

therefore

the bus travelled 88000 m or 88 km
