A bus starts from Aundh at 1pm and heads towards Swargate at a uniform speed. At 1:30pm, a car starts from Swargate and heads towards Aundh at a uniform speed. Somewhere along the way, the bus and car cross each other. Then, the bus reaches Swargate and the car reaches Aundh, both at 2pm. How many minutes had the car been traveling when it crossed the bus?

Answer will be 7.5 minutes
Let the distance traveled by car be d km in 1/2h=30 minutes
So, the distance traveled by the bus in 1/2h= d/2 km
Now time taken by the car to travel d/2 km= (30 min) /2=15 min
Therefore 15/2 min the car had been traveling when it crossed the bus.
