A businessman offers two discounts series i.e., 40% single discount or three successive discounts of 15%, 10% and 15 %. If a man wants to buy an article costing ₹ 2500, what is the difference in the two offers he can visualise? (in whole numbers)

2500 - ( 2500 * (0.4) )              

              or

      2500 * 0.6

     = 1500

Part 2

  1. 2500 - ( 2500 * ( 0.15 ) ) = 2125
  2. 2125 - ( 2125 * ( 0.10 ) ) = 1912.5
  3. 1912.5 - ( 1912.5 * ( 0.15 ) ) =

                1625.625

Part 3

1625.625 - 1500 = 125.625 ≈ 126 (Nearest Whole Number)
