The label marked 100 wvdc has full form 100 Working Volts Direct Current.
It can also be called as 100 working volts DC.
This means, 100 volts is the maximum amount of voltage that can pass through the capacitor.
If voltage exceeds 100 volts, dielectric material filled in capacitor will become useless.
Consequences can be harmful too.
