A car accelerates from 20m/s to 25 m/s in 20 sec. Calculate,
(a) the acceleration (b) the distance covered by the car at that time.

Given v=25m/s
u=20m/s
t=20s
(a) acceleration = v-u/t =5/20=0.25m/s²
(b)s=ut +1/2at²
=20(20)+1/2(0.25)(20)²
=400+50
=450m
