A car has a momentum of 24 kg m s−1. What momentum would the car have if it had one-half the mass and was moving with twice the speed?

Explanation:

P = mv = 24

One half of mass= m\2

Twice the velocity=2v

Therefore new moment P'= m\2*2v=mv

From previous equation we know that P=MV

So P=P'

Moment will be the same,I.e 24 kg m s^-1
