the force of friction is same as the force applied by car on road as per Newton's third law of motion action and reaction are equal and opposite

neel1219: but here velocity is constant therefore acceleration is zero so situation can be imagine as stationary and not moving.

Answer:answer is -1000N

Explanation:By Newton's third law of motion

As per the car is moving with constant velocity ,there net force on car is zero

FA =1000N,Fr=?

Hence applied force FA+Frictional force Fr=0

Fr=-1000N (Negative sign shows that ,the Frictional force is opposite to applied force)
