change in velocity cannot be zero since change in direction has taken placee
true ...thats why change of vel will be 50km / hr ...first it was in north ...so its component along west is 50cos 90=0,...then it turns to west and speed remain same...so vel will be same as speed 50...so change in vel ( 50-0) = 50km / hr
