A car is moving with a speed of '20" "m//s' , after applying the break it has come to rest after 10 seconds. What is its acceleration?​

10ms  −1

Retardation =2ms  −2  

Time =10s

So, decrease in velocity = retardation × time =(2×10)ms  −1

=20ms  −1

 Initial velocity =20ms  −1

 So, final velocity = (initial velocity) − (decrease in velocity) =(20−10)ms  

=10ms
