a car moves at a speed of 20 km/hr for 15 min and then at a speed of 60 km/hr for next 15 min. calculate the total distance covered by the car.

distance =speed*time
80*30/60

Distance = speed * time
S1 = 20km/h
T1 = 15 min = 15/60 = 1/4h
D1 = 20*1/4 = 5 km
Now
S2 = 60km/h
T2 = 15 min = 15/60 = 1/4 h
D2 = 60*1/4 = 15 km
Therefore total distance D1 + D2
5+15 = 20 km
