A car moving at 5m/s speeds up to 15m/s in 4 seconds. Assuming that it moves in a fixed direction with a uniform acceleration , find its acceleration.​

Formula to be used,

Solution,

Putting all the value, we get

a = v - u/t

⇒ a = 15 - 5/4

⇒ a = 10/4

⇒ a = 5/2

a = 2.5 m/s².

Hence, the acceleration of the car is 2.5 m/s².
