A car moving with a speed of 72 km/h is approaching a factory. If the siren ovthe factory has a frequency of 1000 Hz. What is the apparent frequency heard by the car driver ? (speed of sound in air = 330 m/s)

this question is related to Doppler's effect .
according to this ,
f =f°( v±v°)/(v± vs)
where v° is velocity of observer , vs is velocity of source and v is velocity of sound .
here v° = 72 km/h = 72 × 5/18 = 20m/s
vs = 0
sound and observer both are moving in opposite direction. so,
f = f°( v + v°)/v
=1000( 330+20)/330 = 1000(35/33)
apparent frequency =35000/33 Hz
=1060.60 Hz
