Given:

▪ Mass of car = 2000kg

▪ Force acts on car = 1500N

▪ Distance covered = 49m

▪ Initial velocity of car = zero

Calculations :

Acceleration:

F=ma

(1500)=(2000)a

1500/2000=a

a=0.75m/s

Final Velocity:

Vf^2=Vi^2+2ad

Vf^2=0+2(0.75)(49)

Vf^2=73.5

Vf=8.57m/s

Time:

a=Vf-Vi/t

0.75=8.57-0/t

0.75xt=8.57

t=8.57/0.75

t=11.43s
