Hi.
Here is your answer-----
Given-----
Initial speed(u) = 0
Final speed(v) = 50 km/hr.
= 50 x (5/18) m/s
= 250/18 m/s
Time(t) = 5 minutes
= 5 x 60 seconds
= 300 seconds
First,
Using formula for acceleration,
a = (v -u)/t
= (250/18 - 0)/300
= (250/18)/300
= 5/108 m/s^-2
Now,
Using formula,
Final Speed = Distance/Time
250/18 = Distance/300
Distance = 12500/3 m
Hope this will help u.
Have a nice day.
