Distance covered by a car ( s ) = 15 km

Time taken by a car ( t ) = 20 min

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   \:  =  \frac{20}{60} hrs

 \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:    = \frac{1}{3}  hrs

\:\:\:\:\:speed = \frac{s}{t}

\:\:\:\:\:\:\: = \frac{15}{\frac{1}{3}}

\:\:\:\:\:\:= 15 × 3

\:\:\:\:\:\:\:   = 45 km/h

\:\:\:\:\:\:\:= 45 × \frac{5}{18}

= 12.5 m/s
