A car travelling at 20m/sec speeds up to 60m/sec in 6 sec. What is its acceleration?

v= 60 m/s

t = 6 sec

a = (v-u)/t = (60-20) /6 = 40/6 =6.7m/s^2

v= u+at

 =  > 60 = 20 + a \times 6 \\  =  > 40 = 6a \\  =  > a =  \frac{40}{6}  = 6.66 \: m {s}^{ - 2}
