Since u and v is given in km/h we've to convert both of them into m/s by multiplying it with 5/18
u=60*(5/18)=16.667 m/s
v=45*(5/18)=12.5 m/s
t=10 sec
a=?
We can use the equation
=>v=u+at
=>12.5=16.667+a*10
=>a=-4.167/10
=>a= -0.42 m/s²
Since the acceleration is negative it is retardaion and it is approx equal to 0.42 m/s²
u=60*(5/18)=16.667 m/s
v=45*(5/18)=12.5 m/s
t=10 sec
