A car travels 100 km at a speed of 60 kmh and returns with a speed of 40kmh calculate the average speed for the whole journey

1st case:-
distance = 100 km
speed = 60 km/hr
time taken = distance/time
=100/60= 5/3 km/hr
2nd case:-
distance = 100 km
speed = 40 km/hr
time taken = distance/speed
= 100/40
= 5/2

average speed = ​100+100/ 5/3 + 5/2
= 48 km/hr
