A car travels 120 meters in one direction in 20 seconds. Then the car returns ¾ of the way back in 10 seconds. Calculate the average speed of the car for the first part of the trip.

Solution :-

Total distance = 120 + (3/4) * 120 = 210 m = 1.26 miles.

Total time = 20 + 10 = 30 s = 0.0083 hrs

So, average speed = total distance/total time = 1.26/0.0083 = 151.8 miles/hr
