Given:

Petrol needed = 20 liter

Distance traveled = 240 km

Find:

Litre of petrol is needed to travel 600 km

Solution:

Total distance covered in 20 liter petrol = 240 km

Total distance covered in 1 liter petrol = \frac{240}{20} = 12 km

Total petrol required to travel 600 km = \frac{600}{12} = 50 liter

So, the answer is 50 liter.

I hope it will help you.

Regards.

240 km - 16 liters

1500 km - (x) liters

240*x= 16*1500

x= 16*1500/240

x= 100 liters required for 1500 km

hope it helps u! have a great day
