The distance travelled by car = 100 m
average velocity= 20 m/s
final velocity = 25 m/s
(initial velocity + final velocity) /2 = average velocity
Therefore
(u + 25)/2 = 20
therefore u = 15m/s
now we can use equation of motion ,
v-u =2as
25-15 = 2 a * 100
therefore a = 1/20 = 0.05 m/s².
