A card from a pack of 52 card is lost . From the remaining card of pack , two cards are drwan and are foumd to be both diamonds . Find the probability of lost card being a diamond

Total no. of cards = n(s)

=52

No. of Diamonds = n (e)

=13

Let the probability that lost card was diamond be P(e)

P(e)= 13/52= 1/4

There is no use of middle statement .
