Total number of trousers = 100

Total number trousers that are good  = 73

Total number trousers that have minor defects  = 12

Total number trousers that have major defects = 15

Kanu will only accept the trousers which are good

P(Kanu will accept) = 73/100

Radha will only reject the trousers which have major defects

P(Radha will accept) = 1 - P(with major defects)

P(Radha will accept) = 1 - 15/100 = 17/20

Answer: (a) 73/100 (b) 17/20
