★Given :

  • No.of.revolutions made = 1500
  • Distance = 4.5 kilometers.

★To find :

  • Radius

★Solution :

Given that the carriage wheel travels 4.5 km,i.e,4500 m and makes 1500 revolutions.So,the circumference of the wheel will be total distance travelled by the wheel by the revolutions ingoing.

Circumference of circle:

→4500 / 1500

3m

We know:

Circumference = 2πr

And we got circumference = 3m.Therefore,

→3 = 2πr

→r = 3/2π

→r = 3 / (2 × 3.142)

→r = 0.4774m

r = 47.74 cm

Hence, the radius of the carriage wheel is 47.74 cm.

Given :-

  • No. of revolutions made = 1500
  • Dictance = 4.5 kilometres.

To find :-

  • Radius ?

Solution :-

  • Given that the carriage wheel travels 4.5 km, i.e, 4500 m and makes 1500 revolution. So, the circumference of the wheel will be total distance travelled by the wheel by the revolutions ingoing.

 \boxed{\sf{Circumstance~of~the~circle}}

 {\bf{\frac{4500}{1500}}}

3m

We know that

Circumference = 2πr

And we got circumstance = 3m

Therefore,

→ 3 = 2πr

→ r =  {\bf{\frac{3}{2π}}}

→ r =  {\bf{\frac{2}{(2 \: × \: 3.142)}}}

→ r = 0.4774 m

r = 47.74 cm

Hence,

  • The radius of carriage wheel is  \boxed{\rm\underline{47.74 cm}}
