Nomita’s mother wrote letters frequently to her daughter asking her to request her husband to send her some money. Although Nomita does not like doing this, she does not tell her mother. The mother is also unaware of Nomita’s dislike for this and wanting her to be self reliant without depending on money.
In each letter, Nomita’s mother gave her a reason why she wanted money to be sent along with citing her misfortunes.
