Solution.

Based on the given problem, the charge is placed at the corner of the cube as shown in figure 1.

Now consider another figure in which the whole charge is enclosed in four cubes.

so we can write as:

Where A=6∗(2a)²

For one side of the first cube,

Area  Ao = α²

From the above data,

Фe = Q/∈0 = Ea0.where Q =q/24

So flux through a single face is q/24∈0.
