Since both the blocks are joined by an inextensible string,it can be treated as a single object with mass = m1+m2=60g or 0.06kg,each having same acceleration.

Then a =Horizontal component of F /0.06

= 1.5 cos30 /0.06 =21.6m/s^2(approx).

Now, in carriage 1, Fcos 30 - T = m1a

(Net force = m1a)

Thus T = 0.43N(approx).
