Each bindi is at the same distance from the neighbouring bindi . How many bindis would he require for making the design around the cardboard

no. of bindis on all 4 sides = 65*4 = 260

Number of Bindis on each side = 65
Thefore , there are 4 sides in cardboard.
So, number of Bindis on 4 sides = 65×4
= 260
But If we think , the corner most Bindis will overlap each other , So we must subtract 4 from the Total number of Bindis to obtain correct figure.
So, Total number of Bindis = 260-4 = 256
Answer → He requires 256 Bindis for making design around cardboard.
