A circle of radius 7 cm is cut out from a square shaped metal sheet.If the side of the metal is 21 cm, Find the area of left over metal sheet.​

So,

area left is

= Ar(square\;\;sheet)-ar(circle)

Area of square sheet:

=(side)^{2}={21}^{2}=441cm^{2}..................(i)

Now, area of circle:

=\pi r^{2}= \frac{22}{7}\times7\times7=154cm^{2}.....(ii)

Now, subtracting both  areas to get the remaining area:

441cm^{2}-154cm^{2}=287cm^{2}
