the diametre of the first circle = 6.6
the radius of the first circle = 6.6 ÷2=3.3
the area of the first circle = 22÷7×(3.3)^2 =34.22
the width of the path is 1.5 therefore the width will increase from all sides so
the diametre of the second circle will be = 6.6+1.5+1.5 = 9.6
the radius of the second circle = 9.6÷2 = 4.8
the area of the second circle = 22÷7×(4.8)^2 = 72.41
therefore the are of the path will be = area of the second circle - are of first circle
= 72.41 - 34.22 = 38.19
