Hey Dear,

◆ Answer -

A = 1093 m^2

● Explaination -

Total height of tent is 13 m -

Height of cone = 13 - 8 = 5 m

Curved surface area of cylinder -

A1 = 2πrh

A1 = 2 × 22/7 × 12 × 8

A1 = 603 m^2

Curved surface area of cone -

A2 = πr √(r²+h²)

A2 = 22/7 × 12 × √(12² + 5²)

A2 = 490 m^2

Total surface area of tent is -

A = A1 + A2

A = 603 + 490

A = 1093 m^2

Hope this helps you...

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:Height of the cylindrical part = H = 8 m Height of the conical part = h = (13- 8)m = 5 m Diameter = 24 m ⟶ radius = r = 12 m Slant height of the cone = l (ii) Area of canvas used in stitching = total area Read more on
