A class comprises 26 students. During a mathematics test, one student made 12 mistakes but everyone else in the class made fewer mistakes than he did. Prove that there were at least 3 students in the class who made the same number of mistakes

so remaining students = 25 Students who made mistakes from

0 to 11

if Same number of mistake is done by 2 students

then number of students = 12 * 2 = 24

and he will have one of the mistake from 0 to 11

and Hence 3 studens having same number of mistakes

so at least 3 students in the class  who made the same number of mistakes
