Classification of renewable and non-renewable sources of energy.

Explanation:

(a) The non renewable-sources of energy  are coal, petroleum, and natural gas and renewable sources of energy are wind, tides and wood.

(b)The classification is based on the fact whether the source is abundantly available for future use or not. The renewable sources of energy can be depleted soon on continuous utility and takes much longer time to be available for further use. But, the renewable sources cannot be depleted and can be continuously used for production of electricity.  Wind and tide energy are pollution free.
