Explanation:

A is not critical after fuse blocks because the fuse is loaded in the live wire, but circuit B is critical even if fuse touches because the fuse is in the neutral wire.

i.e

  • Circuit A is connected to the mains supply or we can also say that it is connected to the live wire when large amount of current is drawn from the mains supply fuse blows off and no further current is flowing through the circuit as circuit is open now.
  • But in another case when a short circuit occurs the iron stops work but circuit B is still drawing the current from supply.
