A closed cylinder tank of radius 7m and height 3m is made from a sheet of metal. How much sheet of metal is required?(take π=22/7)​

Slant height= root(7^2 - 3^2 )

= root (49-9)

= root40 = 2 root10 m

TSA of cylinder = pi × r × l + pi × r^2

= pi × r (l + r)

= 22/7 × 7(2 root10 + 7)

= 22(2 root10 + 7)

= 44 root10 + 154

= 293.14 m^2
