Inner length of the box = 80cm - 2.5cm = 77.5cm.
Inner breadth of the box = 65cm - 2.5cm = 62.5cm.
Inner height of the box = 45cm - 2.5cm = 42.5cm.
capacity of the box = inner length × inner breadth × inner height.
77.5cm × 62.5cm × 42.5cm = 205,859.375cm^3
outer volume of the box = l×b×h = 80cm × 65cm × 45cm = 234,000cm cube.
volume of wood = outer volume of the box - Inner volume of the box.
= 234,000 cm cube - 205,859.375 cm cube = 28,140.625cm cube.
If 100 cm cube weighs 8 grams.
then 1 cm cube weighs 8/100 grams.
then 28,140.625cm cube weighs 8/100×28,140.625 grams = 2,251.25 grams. Ans

Answer:

Inner length of the box = 80cm - 2.5cm = 77.5cm.

Inner breadth of the box = 65cm - 2.5cm = 62.5cm.

Inner height of the box = 45cm - 2.5cm = 42.5cm.

capacity of the box = inner length × inner breadth × inner height.

77.5cm × 62.5cm × 42.5cm = 205,859.375cm^3

outer volume of the box = l×b×h = 80cm × 65cm × 45cm = 234,000cm cube.

volume of wood = outer volume of the box - Inner volume of the box.

= 234,000 cm cube - 205,859.375 cm cube = 28,140.625cm cube.

If 100 cm cube weighs 8 grams.

then 1 cm cube weighs 8/100 grams.

then 28,140.625cm cube weighs 8/100×28,140.625 grams = 2,251.25 grams.
